These effects were created for Genesis in Destruction Allstars.

I set up a custom facing X shaped ribbon, to make sure the purple ribbon behind Moon looked good from all angles.

The star spiral around Moon rotates as one when standing still, even though all stars are their own independent particles that can be left behind in world space when Moon runs away. This would not have been possible using Cascade. This was possible by setting up a custom rotation method in Niagara.
