This lava shader I created as a personal project.

Functionalities:

  • Automatic & Dynamic Flowmap that can change on runtime if something falls in
  • Wood falling in burns turns to charcoal
  • Metal falling in heats up and melts
  • Ice falling in melts and creates a hotter and more aggressive area in the lava, spawning particles of smoke and lava jumping up
  • Edges flow slower
  • Lava that hits obstacles flows up depending on flow direction
  • Easy adaptation of heat, flowspeed, morphspeed, rock height and amount, streamstrength and many more
