Working on Mortal Kombat 1 has been very exciting. With the technical art team we developed setups that have never before been in realtime games. I have joined this project at its very start, which allowed me to do cutting-edge R&D developing new methods of creating realtime blood.
I tutored the VFX team in Niagara and creating custom Niagara modules, and set up the initial blood creation workflow from Houdini to Unreal. I created tutorial videos to take artists through this workflow step by step.
